About this job
Join Ipsos, one of the world’s leading market research organisations, as a Field Market Research Interviewer. This part-time opportunity is ideal if you enjoy chatting with people, getting out and about, and are looking for flexible work that fits around your life. In this role, you will help us understand what people really think about the services and communities around them, ensuring every conversation contributes to shaping real decisions.
As a Field Interviewer based in the Langford and Cullompton areas, you will be out in your local community speaking to people face-to-face, whether that is conducting door-to-door interviews or engaging with residents in designated public locations. Because travel across the local area is required to reach respondents and conduct fieldwork, having a reliable car at your disposal is essential for this position.
Key responsibilities and day-to-day duties typically include:
- Traveling independently to assigned neighborhoods and locations within Langford, Cullompton, and surrounding areas.
- Approaching members of the public in a professional, friendly, and approachable manner to introduce market research studies.
- Conducting face-to-face interviews and accurately recording responses using digital devices or paper questionnaires.
- Representing Ipsos with a high standard of integrity, ensuring respondents feel comfortable and informed.
- Managing your own schedule effectively to meet project requirements and deadlines while maintaining the flexibility inherent in field-based research roles.
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £35,360 to £39,520 per year (pro-rata for part-time hours). If you possess strong communication skills, enjoy meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and have access to your own vehicle for work purposes, we would love to hear from you.
