Barclays is currently seeking a dedicated professional for a Financial Crime Training role based in Poplar, East London. This is a full-time, 6-month PAYE opportunity offering a salary of £28,888 per year. The overall purpose of this role is to build and establish a brand-new training framework from scratch to enhance role-based Financial Crime training. Driven by regulatory findings from the Federal Reserve and FCA Skilled Persons reviews, this position focuses on ensuring that specific employees—such as Relationship Managers and KYC Analysts—thoroughly understand their unique Financial Crime risks and know how to mitigate them effectively.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Designing, developing, and establishing a comprehensive, role-based Financial Crime training framework from the ground up.
- Collaborating with compliance and risk stakeholders to address specific regulatory findings and recommendations from recent reviews.
- Targeting key operational groups, including Relationship Managers and KYC Analysts, to ensure they recognize and manage their distinct risk exposures.
- Supporting the rollout, tracking, and continuous improvement of training materials to maintain high standards of organizational compliance.
- Ensuring all educational content aligns with current industry regulations and internal policies.
