Bank of America is seeking a dedicated Financial Solutions Advisor to join our team in the Greater Michigan Market at the Orchard Lake Road location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals. You will meet directly with clients to review their investment objectives, build tailored financial plans, and recommend appropriate brokerage and banking products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building financial plans utilizing stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and managed solutions.
- Recommending banking and investment strategies that align directly with individual client needs.
- Triaging client requests and making seamless referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on asset thresholds and specific financial requirements.
- Identifying and engaging potential new clients through referrals and financial center clientele.
- Providing coaching and feedback to referral partners while mitigating and controlling risk as part of daily activities.
- Complying with SAFE Act registration requirements if handling residential mortgage loan originations.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Currently holds Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) licenses, or the ability to obtain the missing series within 60 days if applicable conditions are met.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry, featuring investment training and product knowledge.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a goal-oriented sales environment.
- Strong relationship-building, collaboration, communication, and time-management abilities.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent minimum education requirement.
Desired qualifications include strong computer skills to multitask in a demanding environment, three or more years of experience in financial services or sales, and professional designations such as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), alongside relevant insurance licenses.
