Ascension is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Float Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Milwaukee Campus, located in the Shorewood area of Milwaukee County. In this dynamic role, you will be an integral part of the Med Surg Float Team, working a rotating shift schedule to support various medical-surgical units and ensure high standards of patient care where the need is greatest.

This full-time position comes with a designated annual salary of $105,725.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Providing direct patient care across various medical-surgical units as dictated by facility needs
- Assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, and evaluating outcomes
- Administering medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with established clinical policies
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records for all assigned patients
- Adhering strictly to safety protocols, regulatory standards, and professional nursing ethics
