HCA Florida Atlantic Emergency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Free Standing Emergency ER Nurse RN on a full-time basis in Atlantic Beach, Duval County. As part of our emergency department team, you will utilize advanced technology and tools designed to streamline patient monitoring and communication, helping you work more efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities and professional expectations for this position typically include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the emergency setting
- Monitoring patient vitals and responding promptly to changes in status using modern hospital technology
- Collaborating closely with physicians, support staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and protocols
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records for all assigned patients
- Educating patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
