Orchard Talent Group is currently recruiting for a full-time General Manager Strategic Systems role based in the Brisbane CBD, working with our esteemed partner organisation, The Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak (QATSICPP).
QATSICPP serves as the peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child protection and the Queensland Youth Justice Peak. In this capacity, the organisation represents Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisations that deliver vital child protection and family wellbeing services, alongside funded youth justice organisations operating across the youth justice system in Queensland.
As the General Manager Strategic Systems, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving strategic initiatives, overseeing key systems, and supporting the organisation’s overarching mission. This position requires a collaborative leader who can work effectively alongside community-controlled organisations, stakeholders, and government bodies to strengthen service delivery and advocate for positive systemic outcomes.
Key responsibilities in this leadership capacity typically include:
- Guiding and managing strategic systems and operational frameworks to support the organisation’s goals.
- Collaborating with member organisations, community-controlled entities, and key stakeholders across the child protection and youth justice sectors.
- Contributing to policy development, advocacy, and strategic planning initiatives that align with the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families.
- Providing high-level executive support and strategic advice to leadership regarding sector trends, system improvements, and program execution.
- Fostering positive, culturally safe partnerships across the human services and justice sectors in Queensland.
To be successful in this full-time Brisbane-based position, applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to self-determination and the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families, backed by extensive experience in senior management, strategic planning, or systems leadership within the community services, peak body, or government sectors.
