GOODMIX FOODS is a premium Australian health food company with an established eCommerce business, a loyal customer base, and ambitious plans for growth. Having built a strong foundation, the company is now seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the business through its next growth phase. This role is based in North Lismore within the Lismore area, with connections to the broader Gold Coast and Tweed Heads South region.
This is a part-time leadership position suited to a commercially minded professional who enjoys building businesses, solving problems, and driving strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will not simply maintain the status quo but will actively shape the company’s direction across operations, marketing, finance, and team development.
Typical responsibilities for a General Manager in this context include:
- Developing and executing growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision and market opportunities
- Overseeing day-to-day operations across eCommerce, supply chain, production, and customer experience
- Managing financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability
- Leading and mentoring a small team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Identifying new revenue channels, partnerships, and product development opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with food industry regulations and quality standards
- Reporting to stakeholders on key metrics, progress, and strategic priorities
The ideal candidate will bring proven general management experience in a consumer goods, eCommerce, or health food environment. Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate hands-on in a scaling business are essential. Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for health and wellness products will support success in this role.
