domestiko.com is currently seeking a dedicated Gerocultor/a or Nursing Assistant to join the team at a residential care center located in Ourense, Galicia. This is a temporary, full-time position featuring rotating shifts covering mornings, afternoons, and nights, designed to provide continuous, high-quality care for our residents.
In this role, your primary responsibility is to tend to the essential daily needs of the residents while delivering compassionate emotional support and personalized care. You will play a vital part in maintaining their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being within a supportive residential environment.
Daily tasks and responsibilities for this position include:
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and routine posture changes to ensure physical comfort and prevent complications.
- Serving meals, actively supervising food intake, and ensuring proper hydration throughout the day.
- Performing domestic care duties such as making beds and maintaining a clean, orderly living space for residents.
- Administering oral medication strictly as indicated and prescribed.
- Collaborating closely with the wider care team to monitor resident health and report any relevant changes.
