As a Grounds Crew-3 team member functioning in a maintenance capacity, you will perform various duties requiring technical labor skills to ensure our community meets the highest quality standards set by ELS. You will work closely with management and staff to maintain a clean, safe, and appealing property.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Performing HVAC repairs and adjustments, plumbing, light carpentry and construction, and appliance repair.
• Maintaining grounds, keeping them free from trash and debris, and handling mowing and trimming tasks.
• Conducting irrigation system repairs and monitoring amenity spaces to ensure they are well-maintained and operating properly.
• Attending morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work assignments.
• Reporting maintenance concerns directly to management and executing necessary repairs.
• Moving heavy objects, driving maintenance trucks to various locations on the property, and handling heavy equipment.
• Monitoring and controlling maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Participating in special maintenance projects and performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Being willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a high school diploma or possess equivalent experience.
• Possess 2-3+ years of direct technical work experience in applicable areas, including irrigation repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Demonstrate the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely work with heavy equipment.
