As a Hair Stylist with our team, you will enjoy a supportive, family-like environment and a steady flow of customers so you can start building your clientele right away. We provide competitive earning potential ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, which includes base pay, performance bonuses, and tips, with a starting base pay range of $16.75 to $17.35 per hour. Eligible team members may also receive paid time off, health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and a free new hire toolkit.
Your core responsibilities and daily expectations will include:
- Providing exceptional haircuts and delivering a consistent brand experience for every customer who walks through the door
- Building genuine connections with clients to foster repeat business and community presence
- Collaborating effectively with team members to maintain a supportive, positive, and energetic salon vibe
- Participating in industry-leading paid training and ongoing education to sharpen your technical skills
- Exploring potential career advancement paths, such as growing into a salon manager, technical trainer, or member of an artistic design team
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid Cosmetology License and/or Barber License in accordance with state requirements
- Demonstrate a strong passion for hair styling and customer service
- Possess the desire and adaptability to learn the Great Clips® brand service standards through our provided training
- Show the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with flexible scheduling options (full-time and part-time availability may vary)
