We currently have an opportunity for a Handyperson to join our workforce in Sydney and play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of our facilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking general maintenance, minor repairs, and preventative upkeep across our client’s diverse property portfolio. Your daily duties will involve responding to work orders, troubleshooting day-to-day facility issues, and ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard of workmanship while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Key responsibilities for the Handyperson position include:
- Performing general property maintenance and minor facility repairs.
- Completing routine checks and preventative maintenance schedules across commercial and retail sites.
- Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests logged by tenants and facilities management.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all company and site-specific safety protocols.
- Communicating effectively with site management, clients, and team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Using and maintaining tools and equipment in a safe and proper working condition.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in general maintenance or trade-related work, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach. A valid driver’s licence and the ability to work independently or as part of a broader facilities team in Sydney are essential.
