About the Role

HCM Security is core to ensuring our users have the right access to the right roles and right personas. This role will be instrumental in continuing to drive the design, build and provisioning of user roles for P&P and Non P&P users.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

—- What the Candidate Will Do —-

The successful candidate will manage the Oracle HCM Security scope, focusing on the following pillars:

1. Security Model Governance: Define and govern the security model to support evolving business needs while ensuring strict adherence to data privacy standards.
2. RBAC Design: Oversee the design and implementation of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) across the HCM landscape.
3. Provisioning & Re-certifications: Manage the lifecycle of user access, including initial provisioning and periodic security re-certifications. Define and govern the auto provisioning process
4. Backlog & Ticket Management: Lead the resolution of HR Security tickets and manage the development backlog for security enhancements.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the HCM Security team and broader Data Products workstreams, including Operational Reporting, and Data Governance.

—- Basic Qualifications —-

1. Proven experience in Oracle HCM Cloud security architecture and administration.
2. Proven experience in the Technology Sector in a fast paced and dynamic environment
3. Deep understanding of RBAC frameworks, security profiles, and data roles within a complex HR ecosystem.
4. Strong background in security compliance, audit requirements, and re-certification processes.
5. Ability to manage technical backlogs and prioritize tasks based on business impact and risk.
6. Excellent communication skills to align with leadership on security strategy and process improvements.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$211,000 per year – USD$234,000 per year.

For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$211,000 per year – USD$234,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
