Bank of America is seeking a Head of Line of Business Compensation, EMEA to join our team in London at the Senior Vice President (Director Equivalent) level. In this role, you will sit within the EMEA Compensation and Benefits (C&B) team, leading front office line of business compensation advisory and partnering closely with the regulatory and staff support compensation team to ensure our programs remain competitive and aligned with overarching business objectives.
Your core responsibilities will include leading the delivery and governance of compensation for front-office businesses across EMEA locations, providing strategic advisory support to HR and senior business leaders regarding regulatory requirements, compensation planning, and market competitiveness. You will coordinate front office line of business compensation advisory activities, advise and influence partners on compensation strategy to drive fact-based decisions, and coordinate cross-line of business compensation activities throughout the annual cycle to promote consistency and best practices.
Additional responsibilities involve partnering with colleagues in the regulatory team to provide a line of business perspective for specific regulatory projects, ensuring appropriate governance and control activities, and contributing to the development of regional compensation processes and practices.
We are looking for candidates who bring robust experience in compensation practices within a large multi-national financial services firm, alongside specific experience with EMEA financial services compensation regulations and previous experience managing a small team. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to take initiative, strong project management and organisational skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities, commercial acumen, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a remote team in a matrix environment. You should also possess exceptional attention to detail, advanced Microsoft Excel skills for managing complex datasets, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
