Radford College is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our school community as the Head of Netball. This is a full-time employment opportunity based in the South Canberra area, with activities centered around our vibrant school environment.
As the Head of Netball, you will play a pivotal role in leading, coordinating, and developing the netball program across the school. You will work closely with students, coaching staff, and the wider school community to foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive sporting culture that encourages participation, skill development, and sportsmanship at all levels.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations and administration of the school’s netball program.
- Mentoring, supporting, and guiding coaches and student leaders involved in netball.
- Coordinating training schedules, match fixtures, team selections, and carnivals.
- Promoting student engagement, physical wellbeing, and teamwork through sport.
- Ensuring safe practices and proper maintenance of sporting equipment and facilities.
- Collaborating with colleagues to align sports programs with the broader values and goals of the College.
