Hospice RN, Weekends

At Residential Home Health and Hospice, we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Hospice RN to join our extraordinary care team in the St. Charles, IL area. In this role, you will provide support to patients in Northbrook, Lisle, IL, and the surrounding areas. The schedule for this position includes shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM every Saturday and Sunday.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Managing and delivering patient care plans in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Consistently meeting critical deadlines for patient charting
• Self-managing your time and daily schedule effectively
• Traveling to and from patient locations, spending approximately 20% of your day driving
• Utilizing tablets, mobile phones, and EMR software to document care and communicate with the team

We are looking for compassionate nurses who meet the following qualifications:

• RN license in the state where you work
• Associate degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing
• Two years of RN experience, with hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license and the ability to travel to patient locations
• Demonstrated experience with tablets, mobile phones, and EMR software
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background process and drug screen (including medical and recreational marijuana)

Compensation potential varies by market. The low end of the range includes compensation related to salary and a first-year success bonus, while the high end of the range is inclusive of productivity bonuses and additional shift work paid at a premium rate for after-hours, weekends, and on-call duties.
