Barclays is seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner – Workforce Change & Restructuring AVP to join our team on a full-time, 6-month PAYE assignment based in Glasgow, Scotland. This role operates on a hybrid working model, requiring you to be in the office 3 days a week.
As part of our Employee Relations Workforce Change & Restructuring team, you will help manage global change and restructuring portfolios across our employing entities. Your work will directly support the shaping of our workforce to meet long-term strategic objectives, achieve optimum business performance, optimize costs, and ensure full compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
Key responsibilities and daily focus areas in this role typically include:
- Partnering with business leaders and stakeholders to design and implement workforce restructuring and change initiatives.
- Providing expert employee relations guidance on complex change portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Navigating legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements throughout restructuring processes.
- Collaborating across global teams to optimize workforce costs and improve overall business performance.
- Managing employee relations matters associated with structural transitions with professionalism and discretion.
The salary for this full-time position is £37,890 per year.
