As a Per Diem In Home Caregiver in Dunnellon, you will provide vital support, assistance with personal hygiene, and help with household functions, enabling individuals to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in a role that challenges you while providing clear direction and opportunities for professional development.
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Providing personal care and assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
- Supporting household tasks, meal preparation, and accompanying clients to appointments or running errands as needed.
- Monitoring and documenting client condition, vital signs, and incidents while maintaining confidentiality and properly utilizing the EVV system.
- Ensuring a safe environment, operating medical equipment properly, and responding promptly to client needs.
Required qualifications for applicants:
- Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours and independently in various home environments.
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
- FL: 40-hour AHCA-required training or passing the AHCA competency test.
Preferred qualifications:
- 6+ months of home care experience.
Pay is determined by several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $10.00 to $24.23 per hour based on full-time employment, and we comply with all applicable minimum wage laws.
