Ramsay Health Care is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity working 37.5 hours per week across two key sites: Cherwell Hospital in Banbury and Blakelands Hospital in Milton Keynes.
In this cross-site role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence. You will be responsible for delivering expert guidance and supporting healthcare teams in adhering to best practices across our facilities.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Providing evidence-based Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) clinical advice and support to staff across Cherwell Hospital and Blakelands Hospital.
- Monitoring, auditing, and evaluating clinical practices to ensure compliance with national standards and internal policies.
- Investigating and managing any potential infection incidents, providing clear reporting and actionable recommendations.
- Delivering training, education, and updates on infection prevention to multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Collaborating with clinical leads and hospital management to promote a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
To be successful in this position, you must be a registered nurse with a strong dedication to clinical quality and patient care. You will need the ability to travel and work effectively across both the Banbury and Milton Keynes locations. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the capacity to provide clear, evidence-based guidance in a busy healthcare environment are essential.
