L3Harris Technologies is seeking a dedicated professional for a leadership opportunity in Greenville, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of the daily activities of 5 teams across 2 sites, consisting of configuration and data management, software configuration management, and technical editing specialists.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include communicating within and outside of your function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures. You will make moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes while directly contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and operating plans. Core responsibilities include team leadership, staffing and forecasting, hiring, and developing, monitoring, analyzing, and acting based on team operational metrics.
Qualified candidates should meet one of the following educational and experience criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of Configuration and Data Management experience
- Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of Configuration and Data experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of Configuration and Data Management experience
Additional requirements and preferred skills for the role include:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Familiarity with configuration and data management specifications, and configuration control of military and commercial (FAA) documents
- Knowledge of the conduct of functional and physical configuration audits desired
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic aircraft knowledge is a plus
