L3Harris Technologies is seeking experienced professionals for Integration and Test Engineer roles based in Greenville, TX. In this position, you will work across multiple product lines within L3Harris’ Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) portfolio, collaborating with a diversely skilled engineering team in the design, implementation, and testing of complex interoperable systems. You will work closely with Information System Owners, information systems engineers, program management, and product development teams to navigate cybersecurity processes, practices, and procedures.
Overall responsibilities for this role include:
- Designing and implementing security solutions, including developing and maintaining network security systems such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Developing security policies to create and enforce procedures that safeguard sensitive information.
- Monitoring network activity and continuously reviewing traffic for unusual activity and potential security breaches.
- Conducting security audits, vulnerability management, and regular security assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Responding to incidents by investigating and providing timely resolutions and detailed reporting of findings.
Job requirements and qualifications for consideration include:
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, or a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
- Requirement for on-site presence at the Greenville, TX location, with potential for occasional telecommuting and approximately 10% business travel.
- CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent certification.
- A fluent understanding of networking design, including proper isolation, segmentation, and bandwidth management.
Preferred additional skills that enhance your application include experience with networking topologies, a collaborative track record with other functional organizations, strong technical writing skills, familiarity with engineering tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and DOORS, and additional certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, or Linux+.
