Mount Carmel, a member of Trinity Health and one of the premier health systems in central Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join our esteemed ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program as an Associate Program Director. Located in the Whitehall area of Franklin County, this opportunity allows you to play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
In this dynamic leadership and educational role, you will help influence the program’s day-to-day operations and assist in comprehensive curriculum development for nearly thirty Internal Medicine residents. You will work alongside a collaborative team of full-time faculty members, actively teaching and mentoring residents and medical students across both inpatient and ambulatory clinical environments.
Key responsibilities for this position typically involve:
- Providing clinical instruction, supervision, and mentorship to Internal Medicine residents and students in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assisting the Program Director with administrative duties, program operations, and ongoing curriculum development.
- Participating in candidate recruitment, resident evaluation, and academic progress monitoring.
- Engaging in departmental meetings, committees, and scholarly activities to support the growth of the academic program.
- Maintaining high standards of patient care while modeling clinical excellence.
