Optum is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Westminster, CO, with opportunities connected to our Atrius Health practice network. As part of an innovative health care leader and multi-specialty group practice, you will play a key role in delivering an effective, connected system of care focused on value-based philosophies and collaborative, patient-centered treatment.
In this physician-led environment, you will provide comprehensive care across the continuum, supported by a robust team of specialists and integrated behavioral health providers. Our practice model is designed to support clinicians with fewer patients per day, longer patient visits, and flexible scheduling options, utilizing a state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record system. You will be empowered to practice at the peak of your license while helping to transform healthcare nationally and locally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality primary care and clinical evaluation for adult patients
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary clinicians
- Focusing on value-based care, patient education, and shared decision-making
- Participating in clinical innovation and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
- Active DEA License
- Appropriate medical licensure
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $229,500 to $378,000, with total cash compensation including base pay and performance incentives.
