Targeted Provision Ltd is seeking an Intervention Tutor to join its impact‑driven community at the Chequers Centre in Maidstone. This part‑time position offers a salary of £58,240‑£72,800 per year and involves working with schools and local authorities to improve learner outcomes and support student achievement.
You will plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions for individuals or small groups, design learning activities that address specific skill gaps, track pupil progress through regular assessment, and provide constructive feedback to both students and classroom teachers.
The role requires a commitment to safeguarding, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the varied needs of learners, including those with special educational needs or those learning English as an additional language.
You will collaborate with school staff, local authority representatives, and other tutors to share resources, coordinate schedules, and ensure consistency of support across the provision.
Interviews are arranged on an ongoing basis as applications are received, and successful candidates will be contacted with tutoring opportunities located within a 45‑minute drive of the advertised site or within a 45‑minute radius of the postcode they provide.
