Springfield Behavioral of Pennsylvania and J. Snyder, part of the Optum family of businesses, are seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to join our teams in King of Prussia, PA. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone by treating a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population.

This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week in the office, with organizational support provided for clinical and business operations so you can focus on patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
  • Provide treatment for mental health conditions using various approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods.
  • Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
  • Must have a clear, active, and unrestricted license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • 5+ years of professional social work or clinical experience post-Master’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and families.
  • Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation using tools such as Excel, Outlook, and electronic health records like Athena RMS.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness.
