Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Sign On Bonus

In this role, you will work collaboratively as part of an experienced and hardworking group providing skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation care to our valued guests. We are currently offering a $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions, with all shifts available to suit your schedule.

As an LPN at The Laurels of Kent, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Planning, coordinating, providing, and managing nursing care services and health education to nursing home guests.
• Supervising the care and services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA), and other team members.
• Administering safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
• Assessing the health status of guests, notifying physicians of any changes in status, and promptly implementing new orders.
• Selecting and instituting appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest’s condition and prevent complications.
• Contributing to guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and the ongoing development of individualized plans of care.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state.
• Possess a current CPR certification (or acceptable exemption).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
