CompHealth is currently seeking a qualified Physician Assistant with a specialty in Gastroenterology for a locum position located in Palms, Los Angeles County, California. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating adult patients, seeing an average of 20 to 25 patients per day. The practice focuses exclusively on adult patients aged 17 and older. Candidates must have specific knowledge of Hepatitis B and C. As part of your clinical responsibilities, you will conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with the broader healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care within the gastroenterology specialty.
The schedule for this position is designed to offer a great work-life balance, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position requires no on-call duties and no weekend shifts, allowing you to enjoy your personal time outside of work hours.
To be considered for this locum opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in the state of California
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working in gastroenterology
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience handling Hepatitis B and C cases
- Ability to commit to the Monday through Friday daytime schedule
