ITAL Food Group is a leading Australian-owned manufacturer and supplier of biscuits and cakes, proudly servicing retail, wholesale, private label, and export markets. Due to continued growth and expansion within our operations, we are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our dedicated manufacturing team on a full-time basis at our facility in Campbellfield, located in the Hume area.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production plant by coordinating all maintenance activities. This position offers a competitive salary package of A$80,000 to A$90,000 per year, commensurate with your skills and industry background.
Key responsibilities for the Maintenance Planner include:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance schedules for production equipment, machinery, and facility assets.
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule daily and periodic maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and optimize equipment reliability.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering, production, and management teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and address urgent equipment issues.
- Source, order, and manage inventory levels for spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies required for ongoing operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work orders, equipment history, and asset performance within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Ensure all maintenance operations comply with relevant health, safety, and food manufacturing industry standards and regulations.
