The Queensland Department of Education is seeking a professional to join the team as the Manager, Wellbeing for the Far North Queensland Region, based out of the Cairns Office. This is a temporary, mid-level opportunity within the broader Student Services Directorate, focusing on supporting student and educational wellbeing initiatives across the region.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating wellbeing strategies and services to support schools and students within the Far North Queensland area. You will work closely with regional leadership, education staff, and various stakeholders to implement targeted wellbeing programs and deliver effective student support services in alignment with departmental goals.

Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:

Providing operational leadership and strategic advice on student wellbeing initiatives within the region.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educational staff to support the delivery of high-quality student services.
Managing regional projects, programs, and resources dedicated to enhancing student welfare and educational outcomes.
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaborative approaches to regional wellbeing challenges.
Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the effectiveness of wellbeing programs and services across the district.
