We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Materials Technician to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility located in Fairfield Heights in the Fairfield Area. In this role, you will play an important part in our daily operational processes, ensuring that plastic materials are properly handled, processed, and evaluated to meet our high standards for recycled output.
Key responsibilities for the Materials Technician role typically include:
- Monitoring and assisting with the sorting, processing, and recycling of waste plastic materials
- Operating machinery and equipment used in plastic pellet processing and refining
- Conducting routine quality checks on materials and finished recycled pellets to ensure adherence to specifications
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with workplace health and safety guidelines
- Collaborating with team members and production supervisors to support efficient factory operations
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package of A$85,000 to A$95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and capability. This full-time position represents a great opportunity to build a long-term career within a stable, growing, and environmentally conscious sector.
