Outcomes First Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Lead to join the team at Bluebank School, located in Whittington Moor, Chesterfield. This is a permanent, term-time position offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per year (depending on experience, not pro rata), based on a 37.5-hour work week running Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a planned start date of September 2026.
As the Maths Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the mathematics curriculum and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons, supporting student development, and leading the maths department with enthusiasm and expertise.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Leading, developing, and managing the maths curriculum across the school to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
- Planning and delivering high-quality, inclusive mathematics lessons tailored to the needs of the students.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress, attainment, and engagement.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and support staff to foster a positive and supportive educational environment.
- Mentoring and guiding staff within the department to promote continuous professional improvement.
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
