Effective Fabrication Solutions Pty Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Located in Dandenong South, Greater Dandenong, this role offers an annual salary of A$90,000. In this position, you will play a crucial part in creating innovative solutions for our clients within a dynamic manufacturing and fabrication environment.
As our Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving custom fabrication solutions, mechanical equipment, and structural assemblies to meet precise client specifications. You will manage projects through their entire lifecycle, taking concepts from initial design all the way through to manufacturing support, installation, and commissioning. Ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards and engineering best practices is an essential part of daily operations.
Key duties and responsibilities for this role include:
- Designing mechanical components, fabricated structures, and assemblies using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Collaborating closely with the workshop and production teams to provide technical support during the manufacturing phase.
- Preparing detailed engineering drawings, documentation, and bills of materials for fabrication and assembly.
- Assisting with project oversight from initial concept generation through to final installation and commissioning on-site.
- Ensuring all designs adhere strictly to safety regulations, Australian Standards, and quality requirements.
- Troubleshooting engineering challenges and implementing practical, efficient design improvements.
