In this role as a General Practitioner, you will play a vital part in providing comprehensive medical care within an establishment dedicated to elderly residents. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the health, well-being, and quality of life of the residents through attentive clinical practice and coordinated care.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Conducting regular medical evaluations, health assessments, and follow-ups for elderly residents.
- Collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary care team, including nurses, care assistants, and allied health professionals, to coordinate personalized care plans.
- Managing acute medical situations and coordinating emergency responses when necessary.
- Prescribing appropriate treatments, medications, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with medical standards.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients under your care.
- Communicating effectively with residents and their families regarding health statuses and treatment progressions.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a recognized medical degree and be duly registered with the relevant national medical board (Conseil de l’Ordre des Médecins). A strong commitment to elderly care, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dedicated healthcare team are essential for success in this role.
