Mission Hospital in Asheville, Buncombe County is currently seeking a dedicated and versatile Medical Imaging Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of both invasive and non-invasive imaging procedures. You will operate advanced radiographic equipment with precision and care, apply sterile techniques when required, and assist physicians as an active member of our collaborative care team. Key responsibilities and duties for the Medical Imaging Technologist position include:
- Performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established department protocols.
- Operating advanced radiographic equipment safely and effectively to produce high-quality images.
- Applying strict sterile techniques during invasive procedures and maintaining a safe, clean working environment.
- Assisting physicians and other medical staff during examinations and patient interventions.
- Working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient flow and high-quality care.
- Ensuring accurate patient identification, clear documentation, and proper handling of medical imaging equipment.
This part-time position offers a competitive and specific annual salary of $96,370 per year.
