Davenport-Campbell is currently seeking a talented Mid-weight Wayfinding & Signage Designer to join our in-house team on a full-time basis. Based in our Sydney CBD office in New South Wales, Australia, this exciting opportunity is with a renowned multidisciplinary design studio that specialises in creating exceptional workplace interior environments.

As a Mid-weight Wayfinding & Signage Designer at Davenport-Campbell, you will play an integral role in shaping the user experience and spatial navigation within commercial interior projects. You will collaborate closely with interior designers, architects, and project teams to develop comprehensive wayfinding strategies, environmental graphics, and signage packages that seamlessly integrate with our architectural and interior design vision.

We are looking for a creative professional who brings strong mid-level experience in wayfinding, signage, and environmental graphic design. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of spatial design, typography, materiality, and the technical aspects of signage production and installation. Proficiency in industry-standard design software is essential, as is the ability to communicate concepts clearly to clients and project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities for this full-time role typically include:

Developing creative wayfinding concepts and comprehensive signage strategies for workplace interior environments
Designing environmental graphics, directional signage, statutory signage, and brand touchpoints within physical spaces
Collaborating with interior design and architectural teams to ensure cohesive integration of design elements
Producing detailed documentation, artwork files, and specifications for manufacture and installation
Managing multiple design tasks efficiently while meeting project deadlines and client expectations
Liaising with external suppliers, fabricators, and contractors to oversee quality implementation
