About this job

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mount Auburn Hospital (MAH) is currently inviting applications for our intensive 12-month Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship, starting in August or September 2026. Entering its sixth year, our established program offers an exceptional learning environment rooted in a high-volume MIGS practice that handles approximately 400 cases annually, with a strong clinical focus on advanced endometriosis and complex benign pathologies.

As a fellow, you will work alongside our experienced high-volume MIGS surgeons, gaining extensive exposure to a wide array of complex benign laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic surgeries. The fellowship structure is designed to provide comprehensive clinical and surgical training, including:

  • A guaranteed minimum of 3 days per week dedicated to the Operating Room
  • Involvement in advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures
  • Labor and delivery coverage responsibilities to complement your core surgical training

Mount Auburn Hospital is a distinguished Harvard Medical School teaching hospital and is affiliated with Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), one of the largest healthcare systems in Massachusetts. Serving a diverse mix of urban and suburban patients, our department provides a collegial, supportive, and high-achieving working environment. Our past fellows have successfully gone on to launch fulfilling careers as advanced gynecologic surgeons specializing in minimally invasive techniques.

We warmly encourage both new graduates and mid-career gynecologists to apply for this position. The fellowship is compensated with a salary set at the PGY-5 level and includes a comprehensive package of full benefits.

Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, a current CV, and two reference letters to Lorna Harris, Manager, Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology, via email at [email protected].
