In this dynamic role, you will travel to customers to provide high standards of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include:
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults and mechanical issues efficiently at roadside or customer locations
- Performing routine servicing, maintenance, and vehicle inspections to manufacturer standards
- Using advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
- Maintaining accurate records of all work completed and parts used
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating repair options clearly to vehicle owners
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental standards while operating a mobile workshop vehicle
We are looking for candidates with strong technical capabilities in automotive mechanics, relevant industry qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience, and a valid UK driving licence. You should be comfortable working independently, managing your daily schedule effectively, and representing the RAC with professionalism at all times.
