Join the RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in Church Langley, Harlow, and be part of our SMR Division as we usher in a new era of mobile repair. This is a full-time position offering a competitive earning potential of up to £57,000 per year.
In this role, you will provide expert automotive servicing, maintenance, and repair services directly to our customers. Working on a mobile basis, you will diagnose vehicle faults, perform necessary mechanical work, and ensure high standards of customer service and vehicle safety are met at all times.
Key responsibilities and details of the role include:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models at customer locations.
- Accurately diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.
- Working a 40-hour work week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, alongside a 1 in 4 Saturday working pattern.
- Capitalizing on guaranteed overtime options and additional bonus opportunities to increase your total earnings.
- Maintaining accurate service records and communicating professionally with customers regarding repair requirements and vehicle health.

A strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair is essential, along with a valid driver’s licence and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service on the road.
