Halfords is currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Mobile Tyre Technician in West Leaze, Swindon. In this full-time role, you will bring your automotive skills directly to our customers’ driveways, providing convenient and reliable service when they need it most.
We are offering a competitive salary of £29,995 to £31,025 per year, supplemented by an earning bonus opportunity. This is a 44-hour per week position operating on a shift pattern scheduled between Monday and Sunday, which includes working every other weekend. Shift times fall between 8:00 and 20:00 to ensure we can meet our customers’ flexible scheduling needs.
As a Mobile Tyre Technician, you will use your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and excellent customer service skills to keep our customers moving safely. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:
- Collecting your fully equipped mobile van and heading out to scheduled appointments
- Delivering efficient on-site vehicle care and tyre fitting directly at customer locations
- Communicating clearly and professionally with customers to explain necessary work and answer questions
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety while working independently on the road
- Ensuring your mobile unit is properly stocked, organised, and maintained
