Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division and be part of a new era of mobile repair. While the RAC is widely known for roadside rescue, this is a different kind of role focused entirely on Service, Maintenance, and Repair. Based in Bygrave, Baldock, this full-time opportunity offers a structured work schedule and excellent earning potential for an experienced automotive professional.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs directly to customers in a mobile capacity. You will manage your workload efficiently, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately, and represent the RAC brand with a high standard of customer service.
Here is what we offer for this full-time position:
- A competitive base salary of £40,178 per year, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000 per year
- A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary
- Additional overtime and bonus opportunities
- A 40-hour work week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- A manageable rota working 1 in 4 Saturdays
