Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician within our SMR Division and be part of an exciting new era of mobile repair. We are currently looking for a dedicated professional to cover the Old Aberdeen, Aberdeen area on a full-time, permanent basis.

In this dynamic role, you will bring expert automotive servicing, maintenance, and repair directly to our customers. Working out on the road, you will diagnose and resolve vehicle issues efficiently, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer service at all times.

We offer a competitive base salary of £40,170 per year, with on-target earnings reaching up to £52,000. Your standard working week will be 40 hours, operating during core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, alongside a 1 in 4 Saturday rota. To help you maximize your earning potential, we also provide a guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary, as well as additional overtime and bonus opportunities.

Key responsibilities and duties for this role typically include:

Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models at customer locations.
Diagnosing complex faults using specialist mobile diagnostic equipment and determining the most effective repair solutions.
Maintaining accurate records of all completed work, parts used, and vehicle inspections.
Representing the RAC brand with pride, delivering exceptional customer service and professional advice.
Adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines, safe working practices, and company policies while operating a mobile workshop vehicle.
