Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician within our SMR Division and be part of a new era of mobile repair. Based out of Delapre, Northampton, this is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering you the chance to deliver expert automotive services directly to our customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and to the highest standards at various locations. Working on the road means you will need to manage your time effectively, diagnose vehicle faults accurately, and provide excellent customer service while representing the RAC brand.
Key details of the role include:
- Competitive base salary of £40,170, with total on-target earnings of up to £52,000 per year
- Guaranteed overtime options to increase your base salary, alongside additional overtime and bonus opportunities
- Full-time working hours of 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- A standard working pattern that includes working 1 in 4 Saturdays
We are looking for dedicated automotive professionals who possess strong technical knowledge in vehicle maintenance and repair. A valid UK driving licence is essential for this mobile position, along with the ability to work independently and solve problems on the go.
