Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician within our SMR Division and be part of a new era of mobile repair. We are currently looking for a dedicated professional for a full-time position based out of Chalvey, Slough, offering an attractive earning potential of up to £57,000 per year.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-standard vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work directly to customers in a mobile capacity. Using your mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills, you will troubleshoot issues efficiently, complete necessary repairs to industry standards, and ensure exceptional customer service on every callout.
What we offer:
- A competitive base salary, with total on-target earnings of up to £57,000 per year.
- Guaranteed overtime options and additional bonus opportunities to further boost your earnings.
- A standard 40-hour working week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
- A standard rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays.
We are looking for skilled technicians who hold relevant automotive qualifications and practical experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Because this is a mobile role, a valid UK driving licence is essential. You should also possess strong communication skills, the ability to work independently on the road, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
