As a Motor Mechanic at Sydney Tyre & Auto Centre, your primary purpose is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance, repair, and servicing of customer motor vehicles. This is a critical hands-on role within the workshop, where your daily responsibilities will contribute directly to maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and overall customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities for this full-time position typically include:
- Performing routine logbook servicing and general mechanical repairs across a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Diagnosing engine, transmission, steering, suspension, and braking system faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment
- Fitting, balancing, and aligning tyres and wheels as required by workshop demands
- Conducting thorough safety inspections and roadworthy checks in compliance with relevant industry standards
- Communicating repair recommendations clearly to service advisors or customers when necessary
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace while adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive annual salary ranging between A$75,000 and A$85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
