Auburn Automotive Pty Ltd, a reputable automotive repair and servicing business based in the Clyde and Granville area, is currently seeking multiple qualified and experienced Motor Mechanics (General) to join our busy team on a full-time basis. We provide comprehensive mechanical diagnosis, servicing, preventative maintenance, and repair of light motor vehicles, utilizing modern workshop technology and manufacturer-approved repair procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting the continued growth of our workshop operations and meeting increasing customer demand. Your day-to-day duties will naturally involve performing accurate mechanical diagnoses, executing routine and logbook servicing, carrying out preventative maintenance, and completing reliable repairs on a wide range of light motor vehicles.
To be considered for this position, applicants should possess the appropriate trade qualifications and relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic, along with a strong commitment to quality automotive service and customer satisfaction. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment in a modern workshop setting.
We are offering a competitive full-time salary package ranging from A$75,000 to A$85,000 per year, commensurate with your skills and experience.
Key responsibilities for this role generally include:
- Conducting thorough mechanical and electrical diagnostic testing on light motor vehicles
- Performing routine maintenance, scheduled servicing, and logbook servicing according to manufacturer specifications
- Repairing, replacing, and adjusting vehicle parts and components such as brakes, suspension, steering, and engines
- Utilizing modern workshop equipment and diagnostic tools effectively
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high industry standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area within the workshop
