St David’s ER Ctr – South Lamar is seeking a dedicated Multi Modality Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis at our South Lamar location in Travis Heights, Travis County. As a Multi Modality Technologist, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your daily responsibilities will typically involve operating various imaging equipment across multiple modalities, ensuring patient safety and comfort, properly positioning patients, and producing diagnostic-quality images for physician review. You will also collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to maintain efficient department operations.
Key responsibilities generally include:
- Performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established medical and safety protocols.
- Preparing patients for exams by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring proper safety precautions are met.
- Maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Accurately documenting patient information and procedure details in electronic health records.
- Adhering strictly to radiation safety standards and infection control policies.
This part-time position offers a competitive annual salary of $69,112.
