Amazon TA is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join the Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team as a Multi-skilled Technician on a full-time basis. Located in Newnham, Daventry, this role offers a competitive salary of £38,987 per year. The RME team is fundamental to Amazon operations, playing a vital part in keeping essential machinery running smoothly at all times to support our fulfillment network.
As an RME Multi-skilled Technician, your primary focus will be to maintain a wide range of equipment and workspaces while strictly upholding Health and Safety best practices. You will be responsible for helping to keep your colleagues safe and actively preventing machine downtime through proactive and reactive maintenance measures.
Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include:
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment faults rapidly to minimize operational downtime.
- Enhancing the overall availability, reliability, and quality of site machinery.
- Adhering strictly to all site Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and promoting a safety-first culture among the team.
- Collaborating with operations teams and fellow engineers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation utilizing computerized maintenance management systems.
