Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), a major academic medical center within the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) system in Hackensack, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time neurologist to join the Center for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Related Diseases in the Department of Neurology. As a nationally recognized leader in MS care, the Center provides patient-centered, interprofessional care supported by an active clinical research program, integrated digital solutions, and a rapidly growing patient base.
In this role, you will deliver comprehensive, state-of-the-art care to patients with multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica, and related disorders. You will also have the opportunity to engage in teaching neurology residents, medical students, and other trainees, as well as participate in robust clinical trials and translational research initiatives.
Key qualifications and requirements for the position include:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Fellowship training in Multiple Sclerosis, Neuroimmunology, or related disorders
- Ability to obtain professional licensure, DEA, and CDS licenses in the state of New Jersey
- Strong interest and track record in teaching medical students and residents
- A demonstrated track record of scholarship and interest in outcomes or translational research
- Eligibility for a faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, with rank commensurate with experience and publications
Hackensack Meridian Health offers a market-competitive total rewards package. In accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act, the minimum base salary for this position starts at $228,730, with the final compensation determined based on factors such as specialization, clinical experience, education, credentials, research background, and internal equity. Additionally, eligible positions include a comprehensive benefits package featuring health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
