Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year, Perth Airport plays a significant role in providing economic, social, and cultural benefits to West Australians. With a major investment of more than $5 billion in new infrastructure currently underway to support airline partners, expand services, and reach new destinations, this is an exciting time to join our dynamic organization in a full-time Network Engineer capacity.

As a Network Engineer based at Perth Airport in the Belmont area, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, supporting, and improving our critical network infrastructure. Operating within a fast-paced and essential 24/7 aviation environment, you will help ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing connectivity across our operations to support our ongoing growth and infrastructure developments.

Key responsibilities for this full-time role include:

  • Designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and wireless systems.
  • Monitoring network performance, proactively identifying issues, and troubleshooting complex incidents to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborating with IT and operational teams to deliver robust networking solutions that align with business needs and large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Ensuring network security standards, protocols, and best practices are consistently applied and maintained.
  • Participating in maintenance activities, upgrades, and providing technical support for critical airport systems.
  • Documenting network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

To be successful in this position, you will bring relevant technical expertise in network engineering, a strong problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. Experience within critical infrastructure, transport, or enterprise environments will be highly regarded. If you are looking to build a rewarding career with a major West Australian organization contributing to transformational infrastructure projects, we welcome your application.
