Mediix is currently partnering with an innovative neurological rehabilitation provider to recruit a dedicated Neuro Physiotherapist for their clinic located in Mangerton within the Wollongong area. In this full-time role, you will work closely with clients to help them achieve meaningful functional outcomes using advanced rehabilitation technologies and evidence-based neurological therapy. You will collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals in a supportive environment focused on continuous improvement and client-centred results. Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Conducting comprehensive physical assessments and developing tailored neurological physiotherapy treatment plans
- Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing advanced rehabilitation equipment and techniques
- Monitoring, evaluating, and documenting client progress toward functional goals
- Collaborating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
- Educating clients, families, and caregivers regarding ongoing management and home exercise programs
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy
- Possess current professional registration
- Have at least 1 year of physiotherapy experience, ideally with a focus on neurological conditions or a strong interest in this specialised field
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
