Neurologist (CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital)

CHRISTUS Health has an exciting, full-time opportunity available for a Neurologist to join a well-established team at a busy outpatient neurology practice based at CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative and dedicated team consisting of one physician, one nurse practitioner, two licensed vocational nurses, two medical assistants, and one EMG/EEG/NCV technician.

Our clinic routinely cares for patients managing stroke, seizures, and headaches, alongside a diverse variety of general neurological conditions. While this position is primarily suited for generalists, we also offer the flexibility for candidates to pursue and build a specialty practice based on their clinical interests. Specialists in headache, neuromuscular care, stroke, or epilepsy are strongly encouraged to apply, and the position is open to both experienced practitioners and new graduates.

Key responsibilities and details of the position include:

• Managing an outpatient clinical volume of approximately 15 to 20 patients per day.
• Maintaining a predictable schedule from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no call responsibilities.
• Utilizing an AI-powered scribing tool, ABRIDGE, available from day one of employment at no additional cost to the clinician.

You will be practicing at CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital, an award-winning, 275-bed facility featuring a specialized stroke rehabilitation center, high-performing neurosurgery team, Magnet recognition, and CARF-CCAC accreditation.
